It made it the standard!
Created in France in 1978 based on the work of Dr Paul Nogier, SEDATELEC’s Semi-Permanent Needle has become the standard in auriculotherapy.
After many years spent on research and developing our expertise, today the ASP® needle has achieved an incomparable level of quality.
The ASP® ORIGINAL is comprised of an applicator that makes it very easy to implant the needle with excellent precision.
A series of extremely delicate steps are involved in implanting it in the patient’s ear:
- Calibrated pressure on the thrusting piece, regulated to tenths of a millimetre,
- Coupled with careful pressure for a force adapted to what all therapists consider agreeable,
- Generates the pulse needed to implant the needle when the resistance due to the pressure disappears.
There is then the famous “click”, ensuring that the insertion is perfectly calibrated. This is widely recognised as the Sedatelec ASP®’s signature sound.
The practitioner can thus have complete faith in the product and can focus all of his or her attention to the patient.
