Advanced Auriculotherapy for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder

This course is for experienced practitioners as for basic Auriculotherapy practitioners who use it in their daily practice. 

It will have a hands-on and meticulous approach after the theory and technique introduction. 

Theme: 

Rikke Godthjælp and Dr. Stephane Maugendre will present their research on the treatment of traumatic flashbacks and PTSD.

You will learn new, advanced methods in Auriculotherapy as well as the ROC method, developed by Stephane Maugendre MD, which is a hypnosis technique that auriculotherapists can also use.

  • Treatment of PTSD and the traumatic images using Auriculotherapy and Chromotherapy.
  • The ROC method is used to decode traumatic experiences so that the patient is not trapped in the traumatic feeling of the event.
  • Exploration of laterality, where processing with filters related to the reptilian brain, subcortex and neocortex is used. This method provides an unique opportunity to identify and treat the issues.
  • Treatment of physical pain that is rooted in emotional trauma.
  • Treatment of tinnitus, which occurs as a result of psychological trauma and is retained in the body.

Additionally, the course covers comparative approaches, point location; treatment protocols, Nogier’s VAS pulse and lots of practice sessions using numerous tools like ASP® needles, electrical detection and stimulation, colors, frequencies…

About your trainers:

Rikke Godthjælp

– is the Founder and Owner of the GODTHJÆLP MAUGENDRE International Institute, established in 2003 in Denmark. She is specialized in Auriculotherapy, Auriculomedicine, Posturology and Chromotherapy. Rikke has been practicing and teaching Auriculotherapy, Auriculomedicine, Posturology, and Chromotherapy since 2004 and 2010, respectively.

Dr. Stéphane Maugendre

– is a French medical doctor and GP. He specializes in Auriculotherapy. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Paris and the school of the GLEM in Lyon. Stéphane is a GLEM Diploma teacher and Head of the Auriculotherapy Commission GETCOP, in France. He teaches at the GODTHJÆLP MAUGENDRE International Institute in Copenhagen. He was chosen by the Rothschild Foundation Hospital for a special pain unit, treating those who struggle to find help elsewhere.
