Auriculotherapy for psychological trauma and physical pain course in Portugal

Main objectives:

  • Understand and treat pain associated with emotional dysfunction and physical pain, such as fibromyalgia, migraines, headaches, muscle and joint pain.
  • Treat depression, anxiety, stress, phobias and trauma that lead to or result of PTSD.
  • Specialize in the treatment of PTSD using Auriculotherapy and Chromotherapy.
  • Use the ROC method to decode traumatic experiences and avoid emotional imprisonment. Stéphane Maugendre MD’s ROC method, a hypnotic approach in auriculotherapy.
  • Address laterality, using filters related to the reptilian brain, subcortex and neocortex to identify and solve problems in a unique way.
  • Learn techniques to treat tinnitus resulting from psychological trauma.

Additional focus: Effective strategies for treating tobacco dependence.

It will be an enriching experience where you will expand your knowledge and skills with an integrative approach to managing psychological and emotional trauma and its interconnected relationship to physical pain.

Furthermore, there will be some case presentations and time to practice and test all the techniques that you will learn. 

In this 4 day-course Rikke Godthjaelp and Dr. Stéphane Maugendre will teach you how to take the Nogier pulse (RAC/VAS), how to detect auricular points, as well as how to stimulate them using the ASP® needles, colors, frequencies…

Rikke Godthjælp

– has run her own clinic in the center of Copenhagen since 2003 and taught Auriculotherapy, Advanced Auriculotherapy, Posturology and Chromotherapy at several schools in Denmark, as well as at the GODTHJÆLP Institute since 2010. Teaching internationally since 2021

Dr. Stéphane Maugendre

– has worked with Auriculotherapy and Auriculomedicine since 2013 and taught since 2017. Treats as a specialist doctor in Auriculotherapy and Auriculomedicine in the department for chronic pain in Paris at the Rothschild Foundation pain center. Runs his own medical practice in Normandy since 2005
